With low to no barriers of entry and pathways to high-wage career fields, our goal is to help students break the cycle of poverty and step into a community that uplifts them through mentorship, social services, support, and opportunity.
Tech Valley Game Space
We are proud to partner with Tech Valley Game Space (TVGS), a diversity-focused nonprofit dedicated to making game development accessible to everyone! Their team of experienced instructors brings professional expertise to our program, guiding students through hands-on learning in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Located in downtown Troy, NY, TVGS is a hub where both aspiring and professional game developers collaborate, create, and mentor one another, giving our students the opportunity to learn from the best and connect with the industry.
VDO Gaming & eSports Education
We are excited to partner with VDO Gaming & eSports Education (VDO), an organization run by a Disabled Military Veteran that recognized the power of gaming and esports education to strengthen communities.
Their philosophy is simple: have fun while learning and improving yourself. VDO’s approach is built on three key principles: gaming is fun, gaming and education go hand in hand, and gaming supports both mental and physical growth.
Students get hands-on experience using some of the best current platforms, including Desktop PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch, making learning engaging, interactive, and cutting-edge.
Akula Interpreting & Translation
We are proud to partner with Akula Interpreting & Translation, an organization dedicated to removing language barriers and ensuring that everyone can talk and have a voice. Akula aims to be a strong yet humble aide and guide, helping make the world more accessible through high-quality interpretation and translation services.
